An FKEY that first displays the bit depth of every monitor hooked to a color Mac, then lets you change the bit depth of any monitor via a pop-up menu. Tested on every Mac, and a host of monitors. Version 1.4 Due to subtle changes in System 7.0b4 and beyond, the screen clean-up code in DepthKey 1.3 munges the screen's color palette. DepthKey 1.4 fixes this non-fatal problem while improving the user interface act: you don't need color/gray mode anymore. Shareware. $5 to Overpriced Software.
